Each Month  NYPD Precincts around the city hold Build the Block meetings.
At these meetings  residents are able to meet their local Neighborhood Coordination Officers.
The officers meet the community and hear their concerns and  are hopefully able to solve some of their problems.
FVAC  took the opportunity to join the meeting to connect both with community and their local NCO officers

Itty Bitty Adventures Preschool was teaching their classes about community helpers and vehicles.
Teachers reached out to FVAC and asked we could send a ambulance to the school.
On January 27th FVAC sent two ambulances with a crew for some good old fashion show and tell.
The crew  spent time with  two  classes, giving them a hands on tour of our ambulance.
Experiences like this help enrich the students learning.
At the same time we hope that being familiar with an ambulance will lessen the fear if a student ever needs to be  given care in the back of one.
Thank You to FVAC members Sal Caruso, Joe Auerbach, Stuie Weiselberg   for volunteering for  this event.
